Audio, it's who I am. Terms like, producer, engineer, sound designer, all mean different things to different people. For me, it means passion... Nothing helps me feel better and rewards me more than bringing forth the sounds that color our lives. Wether I am tracking, mixing, editing, or fully producing a project, sound is my art, my sport, my medium. Audio engineers are like artists. Our tools and colors may be similar at first, but, it is our unique personalities that transform the media. And thank God for that or there would be no industry. Air is my pallet, and getting the best job done is my purpose.
I am open minded about any opportunity. Being a real music fan I've produced and worked with some very talented artists. Everything from Pop, Country, Rock, Spoken Word, and Solo Artists alike... I make every opportunity a new one. This is my secret for staying fresh in the game. Always building upon what I've learned and exploring a new dimension for tomorrow.
My experience with film and video have never let me down. Combining sight with sound really motivates me. The "whole" can be greater than the sum of it's parts. However, try watching your favorite movie with out any sound and tell me what's really missing! Not knocking my film making friends, just happy to help at any time ;-)
